Relationships are a major part of life, and even though almost everybody deals with relationships many people don 't really understand the effects of sexuality within a relationship. Many people have heard of the term "sowing wild oats" but very few know the origin of the meaning. Originally to sow your wild oats applied to young adolescent adults who wasted their time in "idle pastimes" but the more common meaning in today is to get impulsive behaviors out of your system by having sexual relations before settling down into an adult relationship. A wide selection of people believe that you should "sow your oats" because it is a necessary part of youth development.

To summarize my thoughts and research on sexuality there are an endless amount of perspectives on what people think sexuality and morality are and what they should be. I presented facts and my opinion on how I believe that everything is a case by case scenario and that you are ultimately the main factor in if these things will affect your relationships. I don 't think you should refrain from sexual relations or what people refer to as "sowing wild oats" whatsoever but I also don 't think you should just try to have relations with every and any person available because I believe that can hurt future relationships. I think you should just let life take its course and make right decisions based around emotions and physical attraction but not worry too much about how it could possibly affect a future relationship because you won 't be living your life. By being super cautious you won 't be able to develop as many life experiences. To put all of this into a nutshell in my opinion you should establish an emotional relationship before getting to the physical portion of the relationship to ensure to build a very strong bond. By holding off sexual actions I believe that it will cause a strain on the relationship. In addition to that I believe that the number of sexual partners shouldn 't play too much of a factor in future relationships as long as you weren 't just having sexual relations with every and anyone, and more so if you established some type of emotional relationship prior to having sexual relations with your
