Teen activists, although they are young can have a big impact on the the world. Also even is if it is a small impact it is still an impact and can inspire others. Activism can come in many forms and ways, but all of them are focused on improving our world and us. Passion is a major factor in becoming and being an activist. Malala Yousafzai defied the Taliban and demanded that young girls should be allowed to have an education. Her parents supported her in all of her movements but even so, she was shot in the head by a gunman. She survived and is now passionate teen activist fighting for girls education not just in pakistan, where she lived, but in the entire world with the “Malala Fund”. Alex Lin is another example of a teen activist. He has successfully helped to ban e-waste in Rhode Island. He has overseen the recycling of 300,000 lbs of trashed electronics. He has the hopes of banning e-waste nationwide, he may have a long way to go, but if he keeps progressing like he has he will be there in no time at all.
