The United States of America is considered to be the most obese country in the world and reason for this is pretty obvious. Fast food restaurants are in every corner of the country and it is one of the reasons why the obesity in this country is really high. According to the national health and nutrition examination survey in 2010, it is reported that more than one in twenty adults are considered to have extremely obesity. Currently, there are so many people are searching for the ways on how to fight obesity and one of the ways to help fight the disease is to first look at the main causes of obesity.

The first cause of obesity which we all aware of is overeating. Overeating is considered to be the main cause of obesity. When a person consumption in a single day does not match the physical activity he does in that day, obesity begins. In addition, it is stated that there is an increase in the average portion size of the food in the restaurants by twelve percent. (Balentine). The increase in the portion size might also give the impression to the consumer to consume more. As most of the people don't want to waste food, they might even strain themselves to finish the food no matter what.
