Have you ever wondered what people are celebrating in china while we are celebrating something else? There are many similarities and there are many differences between the countries of America and China. Many of these similarities and differences can be seen in the cutler, crops that they grow, the population levels, the religion, their education, and their holidays.

In America, Christianity is a number 1 religion. But in china Christianity is way underneath other religions. The top religion in china I Buddhism. As it said on all the sites I looked that there were too many people to estimate the total of who is Buddhism in china. While here we could easily say that 70.6% of people in America believe in Christianity.
Holidays are different in both countries. During the winter in America, Christmas is celebrated to celebrate the birth of Jesus, but in China, they celebrate the Winter Solstice. America’s New Year celebration is January 1st but in China, their New Year is the first day of the lunar year. In the spring, America celebrates Easter but China celebrates the Spring Festival, the most important festival in China.
In China, they spend the same amount of time at school as students here during the day. In America, there are 3 steps elementary school, junior high school, and high school but in china, there are 6 steps. Ages of students in china are age 6 to 24 where in America they range from 5 to 18. Students in both countries study the same basically with a few
