The last of the Mohicans: Task 1
The book I have chosen for my classics project is named “The last of the Mohicans” and it is one of the many books written by the famous author James Fenimore Cooper . The book is set in Hudson river, north America from around 1757 and it is mainly about a scout named hawk-eye and his two Mohican friends (the last of the Mohicans). The plot is set during the war between England and France, and many of the Indian tribes are fighting the war for both sides. The Mohawks and Mohicans are on the English side while the Hurons are fighting for the French.
Cooper released his books based on adventures from his own life, he was for instance in the navy for quite some time and because of that, many of his books are based on sea …show more content…

By reading you will automatically expand your vocal bury by always learning and processing new words and the meaning of them. With so many genres that reading offers, you can almost certainly find something that you find interesting and informative, and by doing that you will make a great investment for yourself and your future. It depends a lot on what you are reading, but many books are very informative in terms of school. If you for instance read a book about the American civil war you will learn a lot of important matters which will help you a lot on the way for you upcoming history test .
The quote written earlier briefly mentions the fun and adventures parts of reading. As the quote says, you can travel the whole world, meet new people and learn new things just by reading, so why not just read? If your reading a well written book you will much easier be able to feel with the characters in the books, you can for instance get angry with them, happy for them and even laugh at them. You can experience and discover so many new feelings by just sitting still in your room
