The last of the Mohicans: Task 1
The book I have chosen for my classics project is named “The last of the Mohicans” and it is one of the many books written by the famous author James Fenimore Cooper . The book is set in Hudson river, north America from around 1757 and it is mainly about a scout named hawk-eye and his two Mohican friends (the last of the Mohicans). The plot is set during the war between England and France, and many of the Indian tribes are fighting the war for both sides. The Mohawks and Mohicans are on the English side while the Hurons are fighting for the French.

If you for instance read a book about the American civil war you will learn a lot of important matters which will help you a lot on the way for you upcoming history test .
