The distance of power is used to indicate the degree of acceptance of inequality in power distribution. In general, the oriental culture has a high power distance index, and the reaction to inequality is indifferent or tolerant, emphasizing obedience and respect for authority, and being educated to listen to parents and teachers unconditionally.
