The United States should scrap the recycling program. First of all, one reason is that it is cheaper to scrap the recycling program. To continue, scraping it is cheaper because we use less factories. Lastly, we use less energy and gas. Also we do not have to pay for trucks. The trucks and other materials can be really expensive. My paragraph will include facts from the Tribune News Service. The United States should scrap the recycling program. “According to the Tribune News Service, by sending an extra fleet of trucks around town once a week, supporters of recycling actually are not protecting the environment”. First of all, the trucks are polluting the air, the gas in the trucks pollute the air this is bad for the environment. “It’s more expensive and takes more energy and water to recycle old paper than to cut down and process pine trees and then plant pine seedlings”. First of all, some things are cheaper to make new than to recycle. “Among those materials are paper and aluminum cans, according to the government department”. Second of all, this is saying that only some materials should be recycled and here are some of them. This also means that we recycle things that should just be thrown away. “It only makes sense economically and environmentally to recycle about 35 percent of our trash”.
