William Shakespeare is a world-wide known writer who is known for writing about life, love, death, revenge, grief etc. One of his great works that he is known for is the play Romeo and Juliet, star crossed lovers who pursue their love for each other secretly despise their ongoing family feud ending in a tragedy. One of the reasons Romeo and Juliet is considered a tragedy is because there is concern present between the relationship of the father and the children. Juliet is threatened by her father to forcefully marry Paris or else she will be “hang, beg, starve, die in the streets, for by my soul, I’ll ne’er acknowledge thee… ” (3.5.204 - 207) With her father threatening her and placing her in a situation where she can’t turn to her family members for help, there is concern hanging between her and her father. Romeo was supposed to receive a letter from Friar Lawrence and Friar John was supposed to deliver it, but he couldn’t because someone thought that he had the plague and would not let him leave. The delay caused Romeo to be unaware of Juliet’s fake death hence causing him to go to Verona, but before going to Juliet he buys “A dram of poison, such soon-speeding gear as will disperse itself through all the veins, that the life-weary taker may fall dead…” (5.1. 64 - 69) from the Apothecary. When he reaches the churchyard he encounters Paris, kills him and gives Juliet one last kiss and drinks the poison but “... thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die.” (5.3. 119 - 120) Just as Romeo dies, Juliet wakes up noticing her beloved husband lying dead on the ground and to unite with him she takes Romeo’s, “O, happy dagger, this is my shealth.
