The play Romeo and Juliet is about two teenagers from two different families who are enemies. They fall in love after meeting at a party that Romeo wasn't supposed to be at. They decided to get married after they met. The plans they had for their love started to go downhill after Romeo got banished. Eventually, they both ended their lives because they didn't want to live without each other. Max Radclix, a literary critic, discusses how there are 3 primary characters to blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet at the end of the play: Romeo, Tybalt, and Friar Lawrence. At the start of the play Romeo loved Rosaline, But she didn't like him back and Romeo got sad that she didn't love him back. Benviolio made Romeo sneak into a cabaret party for him to see the other girls he could go for. The only reason Romeo went to the party was that he saw that Rosaline was going on an invite list. “ When they find out that Rosaline, on whom Romeo dotes, is invited to the party, they decide to go too.” (Shakespeare 1.2) Basically, Romeo loves Rosaline but she doesn't love him back and he can't get over her so he decides to sneak into the Capulet's party uninvited just so he can try and get Rosaline to love him back. Romeo went to his enemy's party to see Rosaline when he wasn't even invited. This shows that he really can't control his emotions in situations like this.
