The Current Events in Charter Schools
There are three different types of schools, concerning the United States board of education system. These include public schools, private schools, and charter schools. The definition of a public school is an elementary or secondary school in the U.S that is being supported by public funds and provides a free education for children. To define the meaning of a private school is to know that it is the opposite of a public school. An elementary or secondary school is a kind of school that is privately funded and is supported by the payment fees. Lastly, charter schools are publicly funded independent schools established by a community group under the terms of a charter with a local authority. If there was a survey to ask people, what type of school did you go to during your high school years, a vast majority of them will answer that they went to a public school, a minority of them will say private school, and a few people will answer a charter school. So what can be a reason why people do not attend a charter school? Do they see public schools being the key toward a more successful route for a better education? Do they believe a private school will enhance opportunities toward a higher career success? Charter schools supply the same opportunity as both public and private schools, but people see other sources with the other types of schools.
