Are people naturally inclined to look for a leader? The Wave and The Diary of Anne Frank have a lot of topics in common. There is one specific topic that is very important and it is if people are naturally inclined to look for a leader. The truth is that people are naturally inclined to look for a leader after a while. That means that the people who are looking for the leader trust the leader, has the compassion for the leader, and hope for their leader. Another reason why people are naturally inclined to look for a leader is because they do not like taking care of themselves. People have faith in their leaders because the leader is doing what they do best. For example: in The Diary of Anne Frank, Otto kept on trying to be a good leader and people had faith in him because he was not giving up and he kept on saying that they would survive the war. In The Wave Ben Ross kept on doing what the people liked best and was a really great leader and people grew more faith into him and The Wave. People also have faith in their leaders because the leaders give out good messages. Third of all, why are people lazy to take care of themselves? People are lazy and don’t like taking themselves because they have their advantage, their leader. They use their leader to take care of them. For example, when the assembly for the only wave members Mr. Ross tried getting the projector to work but and it didn’t work and his followers did not do anything about it they waited for their leader to fix it. In the Diary of Anne Frank everyone was counting on Otto to fix
