Animals are included in our everyday lives no matter what. Whether it be your next meal or playing fetch with your dog or even putting on your moisturizer, animals are a part of the whole process. Animals are being used everyday to test things in order for us, humans, to be safe. Humans are ignoring the fact that animals are constantly being tested on to see if a makeup product or medication is okay for us. Animal testing is such a cruel thing that goes on everyday in labs and factories without us knowing. This needs to be stopped. Why? Technology. The amount of money. Cruelty. Animal testing should be stopped because new technology, the crazy amount of money being spent, and the countless numbers of animals being experimented on.

Whether it is the site of a puppy howling for the first time or cats getting stuck inside boxes, they are just adorable. The sad thing is that countless animals are being experimented on and the either killed or kept in captivity. These animals are being killed because the testing is too harmful or something goes wrong with the animal (such as blindness or failure of lungs/heart) that the labs just kill them immediately and bring in the next animal to be tested on. Examples of the harshness animals go through in an experiment is force feedings, repeated surgeries on unhealed wounds, implanted wires in brains, crushing of the spines, and so much more. If the animal is lucky enough to survive, they are either placed in some of the cruelest conditions or even released into the wild. Some animal testing labs are nice enough to care after the testing, but that does not matter because the animal will continue to go through testings until death. Animals are supposed to be part of family memories or something that can place a smile on someone’s face on a bad day. These continuous testings only bring tears to our eyes or a frown that unfortunately, cannot be turned upside
