Animals are subjected to confined rooms all of their lives, used in painful experiments and then disposed of as if they are an inanimate object.
After reading this, people will see that these testing are extremely harmful to animals. The pain animals endure during testing is so harmful, it’s basically animal abuse. Animals are put through a lot of pain and suffering. Tiny mice are given tumors bigger than their bodies.
Both sides have very strong statements about testing on animals and not. However, animal testing should stop because animals end up roughly abused, humans and animals are different, and there are other alternatives. Although many believe that this seems to be a good option as opposed to human testing, I feel that it is inhumane and unnecessary because it causes pain, suffering, and death to animals, has little scientific relevance, and cost taxpayers billions of dollars each year. Each year, millions of animals are tortured, hurt, or killed because of animal testing. These animals feel pain, isolation, deprivation, and misery. Many people believe that animals do not feel have feelings, but there should be an argument that everything feels pain. Like humans, animals have rights as well, and it is arrogant and morally wrong to discriminate
Animals are being tortured with drugs, chemicals, and tormented with psychological testing. I believe that animals testing should be banned on the grounds that it is not fair, not exceptionally solid, and is really harsh. I believe that animal testing is cruel and inhumane, and that animal tests do not reliably predict results in human beings. Just by talking or hearing the words “animal testing”, you would most likely think that it’s a terrible idea, but it’s more common than you think. Scientific american says, “the test involves applying a small amount of the substance to an animal’s eye or skin for several hours… In most cases the animal subjects—usually albino rabbits bred for the lab—are put to death after the sometimes maiming and often painful test.” Putting all of these chemicals on animals or even maiming(cutting) them is so cruel and inhumane.
Animal testing has been going on for decades. But, it needs to stop. Innocent animals are tested on for the sake of human necessities and wants. Animal testing does have some benefits but, it can be done it other ways without harming animals. It is doing more bad than good.
