Some of the stories in the bible are so amazing and so mind blowing that its almost hard to believe, or it may feel like reading a fairytale. It’s amazing to think that God was so powerful he was able to make so many astonishing miracles and lead so many people to such stunning and faithful lives. Esther is one of my favorites among those stories. It really is like reading a fairytale and knowing it actually happened makes it even better. In the Old Testament, Esther is one of the most influential and inspiring characters. She shows Godly traits like honesty, leadership, and trust. These are traits that can help anyone to live a godlier, and happier life, and are what drove Esther to be a queen that spread the word of God and saved thousands of people. The story of Esther shows how trusting in God can lead to great rewards. Her obedience saved an entire nation. She was prepared for the worst-case scenario but because of her bravery and trust in God, she got the best-case scenario. Esther 4:16 says “If I perish, I perish.” Showing her devotedness to God, even though she knew her life was at stake. Even though when times are tough, it may seem like God is absent, but we must remember that he is always with us. Esther 8: 16- 17 says. “For the Jews it was a time of happiness and joy, gladness and honor. In every province and in every city to which the edict of the king came, there was joy and gladness among the Jews, with feasting and celebrating. “This verse shows that because of Esther’s trust in God, the Jews no longer had to live in fear and were able to worship freely and happily. Trusting in God is such an important trait to use in our lives. If we did not trust in God, we would not get to experience the many blessings that God gives us. It can be extremely difficult sometimes, but even in hard times, trusting in God can give us the hope we need to get through
