His grandchildren called him ‘Foxy,” meaning smart as a fox, but to him a fox was a chicken thief. Thus, he thought his grandchildren disrespected him and asked to be called Dzeidek. Cory: Good morning, I would like to thank all of you here for coming to support my family and me as we grieve over the death of my father, the beloved Troy Maxson. I originally was not planning on coming here today, but I decided that my heart does not have enough room for any regrets. My father was no angel and because of that our family suffered through many hardships, but for anyone of you out there who hold a grudge against him, I ask that right now, you forgive hime, jsut like I had done ten minutes ago when I stood infront of the Church’s Doors. I want everyone to understand, that no matter how high he put himself on the pedestal, he was human and just like the rest of us in this room he made mistakes. He had no example of what a true man
Donny Hallmark I have the privilege of Celebrating with you the life Donny Hallmark, not simply as a minister of the Good News, but as his nephew by marriage. I also had the privilege of conducting the funerals of each one of his siblings, Charles, Betty, Barbara, and William. After each memorial Donnie would say to me, “Promise me you will do my funeral, I want to be sure you will say nice things about me.” It kind of makes me wonder what he was worried we might say.

Christopher suggests that men when they are not with their families they are in diners, taverns, drinking, conversing, and playing pool with other men. Although I don’t completely agree with the author about some of the things he notes I do believe this one statement to be true. As I have been with my father as he sat in bar for hours on end talking and drinking with his friends. I sat in the corner eating my cheese curds and playing the naughty games on the machine. Even though we sat in the bars for hours it still didn’t change how involved he was in my life he was still there to teach me anything I wanted to know or even standing by my side as I met with public defenders and probation officers.
about 2 months after my dad passes away, i got lonely and missed his company, so i tought to myself i sould take a ride for old time sakes and remeber my dad in the way i used to remember him, kind loveing and careing enough to share his passion for shooting with me, he taught me how to hold aim and take care off all sorts of pellet rifles and small cal rifles, how to safely handle them with out endangering me or others around, and his loveing for just driving around with me talk and enjoying life. so to honor my memory of him i borrowed one of his pistols and did this on my own didnt tell anyone, not knowing what it was untill resently, thinking it would bring back the good memorys of him and what we did together, and it did. so i found one the spots where we used to go and i collected a few bottles mostly glass ones, and arranmged them in a row and like my dad taught me, i just started hitting them one after another, i started to fell a bit better about myself and the memory of what my dad did and ment to me in the past this was to honor his life in my eyes and how i saw him, when i was finnished i drive off longer down the road and saw a bunch of frogs on the bank of a creek/river, this is what we did also frog hunting it was fun as a kid, so
