Hamlet died this fine evening in a fencing match between him and Laertes. The two had the utmost respect for another but an unexpected turn of events lead to bloodshed at the palace and ended in the death of Claudius, Laertes, Hamlet and Gertrude. Nonetheless, Hamlet will always be remembered as the heart and soul of Denmark. He was a great man and had the greatest of characters, not one person in the Kingdom of Denmark can say that they were not honored by his presence. Hamlet was the Prince of this great nation and was the heir to his uncle’s throne. It would have been a great honor to be ruled under his leadership but God did not want things to play out this way. Hamlet left all his university studies when he heard of his father’s death and came rushing to Denmark. There are countless other stories which allude to how much he cared about his family and how loving a person he really was. His best friends described him as being lively, comedic, friendly and sympathetic. Hamlet enjoyed having fun just like everyone else and his joyful personality will be remembered by many. It is with great sadness that we have to mourn his death along with the death of his uncle, mother and Laertes at the royal castle in central Elsinore. We hope to see the whole of Denmark to pay tribute to the death of one of the greatest souls that has ever touched the hearts of Denmark.
