The theory of evolution is an attempt to prove how the universe and life therein came into existence. There are different divisions of this theory that have different views and assumption, all striving to concretely establish valid evidence about the “origin” of the universe. Theistic evolution, for example, is a particular view that has caused conflict in the attempt to branch off of general evolution and stay within its foundational principles. Are there any good reasons to only partially acknowledge God in the formation of the universe, or is this partial recognition a reluctant excuse to not thoroughly include God in the whole creation of the universe. This group assumes that God used the process of evolution, meaning they interpret the “days” of creation as eras lasting millions of years, but the fossil record indicates a sudden burst of life. Science by definition is systematized knowledge derived from study in an orderly procedure. It is a way to prove what is provable. Science and it’s imposed laws and limitations, limit it to only verifiable and observable facts which may be repeated and demonstrated for further study. According to science, “creation” is not in the realm of science because it is not a recurrent subject of events where data can be gathered and conclusions can be drawn, which is required to be true science. In addition, a scientific law name Biogenesis says that life comes from life and nonliving matter cannot suddenly become alive nor produce life unless there was intervention from an outside force. For evolutionary theories to work, laws of science would have to be ignored. Science has proven the views of evolution illogical and the claim that God had direct divine involvement in His creation has yet to be proven, but science has confirmed some biblical statements verified by the laws of science and archeological discoveries.
