I saw in the future, I know Zeus would win that war, so I persuaded Epimetheus to join me in fighting with Zeus. Interviewer. Do you ever regret leaving the Titans? Prometheus. Not at all, Zeus granted me the honor of filling Earth with humans and creatures, an amazing opportunity. It started off when I tricked Zeus, I wanted my creations to have good, plentiful food. Once he found out what I wanted he took fire away from them. I wasn 't going to let them suffer so I went to my good friend Athena. She told me about a staircase to Olympus. I went there, got in, and lit a torch. I had this fennel stick that I put the fire in and carefully took it down to Earth. When Zeus found out, he chained me to a rock on the highest peak of Mount Caucasus. While there I was tormented by an eagle. Interviewer. How did you escape? Prometheus. Hercules eventually came and killed the eagle, which was the thing tormenting me. The whole thing was a way to try and make me give up information I had on who would dethrone Zeus, but I wouldn 't say. Interviewer. Lastly, could you describe your encounter with Pandora? Prometheus. Ha, foolish woman she was, my brother fell in love with her instantly, but eventually her curiosity unleashed evil things into the world. Interviewer. Foolish seems right. Well, there you have it folks, Prometheus ' stories. Because of his heroic actions we now have torch races in his honor.
