The Crucible Miller illustrated a significant story about the Puritans in Salem Massachusetts in 1692. One of the worst events that happened in Salem Massachusetts were the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials took place when people were being convicted as being a witch or other hands being the devil. The people that were prosecuted were the poor, the aids, and the old people of the little town of Salem. As Miller interpreted the moral behind the historical event, he made a similar connection with the play. In the crucible Abigail Williams is demonstrated through terror, tribulation and lost. Its right to stay young at a young age, but Abigail Williams had a rough time growing up from a young age so she took things into her own hands. Abby actions were carried on down from her past hardships. Terror is shown through a person, especially a child that causes trouble or annoyance. This example provides proof that Abby is filled with terror “I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you. (Miller 113-132). Abigail Williams was already bursting with anger because she already knew that her uncle Parris seen her in the woods and conjuring the evil spirit. Abby forced the girl to not tell anyone what happen that night of the incident because if they told she was going to kill whoever. “She sends her spirit on me in church; she makes me laugh at prayer!” (Miller 156). Abigail deceitful words had a horrible impact on Titubu falsely conjuring spirits. Abigail thrown all the guilt on Titubu because she doesn’t have no say of what anybody thinks of her.
