Thank you for your interesting email. I am reading The Great Gatsby for my wide reading this term. This is one of the most famous books in the world and is undoubtedly a classic novel. I choose to read this novel because it shows the other side of the Great Depression, the people who were employed and had vast amounts of money which greatly contrasts to people like George and Lennie from Of Mice and Men.
