In the novel “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, shows careless people with no emotions just looking out for themselves and covering their mistakes. Nick the narrator tells the story about his close friend, Gatsby, who was in the military when he met Daisy (Nick’s cousin), and had instantly fallen in love with her. Gatsby left her because of his job in the military and Daisy married a rich man named Tom. Soon Gatsby found out that the reason Daisy married Tom was because of his money and nothing else. That is where Gatsby had gotten all of his money from within the years and him returning to the city.They plan a meet between Gatsby and Daisy but once they saw each other they had that love comes back. Gatsby convinced Daisy to leave Tom, but when it was going to happen there was an incident with Daisy running over Myrtle who turned out to be Tom’s secret lover. Daisy and everyone else blamed it on Gatsby and it caused him his own death as well because Myrtle's husband went to kill Gatsby. At the end of the story, Daisy stays with Tom and they vanish away from the city and Jordan judges Gatsby without her knowing who was actually driving.
