In Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel, Fahrenheit 451, Bradbury paints a picture of a world that has given in to technology and its power. Neil Postman’s social criticism, Amusing Ourselves to Death Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business, reinforces Huxley’s prophecy that people would come to love their oppression and lose their ability to think.
