Part 1 Explain the process of competency restoration. According to Hubbard, Zapf, & Ronan, (2003), “Competency restoration is the process used when an individual charged with a crime is found by a court to be incompetent to stand trial, typically due to an active mental illness or an intellectual disability.” Before the legal process can continue, a suspect should be restored to competency. That gives the suspect the chance to consult with his or her defense lawyer to have a factual and rational understanding of the legal proceedings.
Competency Statement III To support social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance. My goal in a child care facility would be to make sure to support the social development of the children as well as the emotional development too. I would also make sure to provide them with positive guidance. They need a positive guidance in their life especially at the age that they are in.
Objective One During my clinical day three, I demonstrated entry-level competence in professional nursing practice in caring for patients with multiple and/or complex unmet human needs. I addressed safety needs, safety in medication administration, effective communication, and surveillance for my patients. First, I addressed safety needs my ensuring the appropriate safety measures were implemented for the patients. Some of the safety measures included, wearing non-skid socks, wearing a yellow armband which indicated fall risk, keeping the bed in lowest position, two side rails up, bed locked, and the call light within reach.
Goal 1: Lizzie will improve her emotional and behavioral regulation. • Lizzie and her mother were in a pleasant mood when the QP met with them for a session. • Lizzie’s mother reported, “over the weekend Lizzie had one massive blow up because she snatched a cup from her baby brother and it drop and the bottom broke out then I picked the cup and threw it, so it shattered into multiple pieces.” • Lizzie’s mother shared, “Lizzie just went off when it shattered, but she was angry as well.” • Lizzie’s mother acknowledged, “it was not the best response, but sometimes I just want to go off too when Lizzie starts on her rampage.”
CD 452 Professional Development Reflection The first lesson I chose was Power of Language for Infants and Toddlers. Each lesson taught how to build relationships, language, and every word builds a healthy brain. It taught how to respond to a child in a positive way, there are 5 elements to the responses.
CS I: Safe Healthy Learning Environment Safe: My goal for safe, healthy learning environment to keep my knowledge up to date for children safety. When my son was in pre k, I worked as a volunteer I read the book for children, and I helped them with a field trips. I have some hands-on activity ideas. I enjoy working with the children, and I want them to be safe.
According to the the 2010 Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Practitioners created by College Student Educators International (ACPA) and Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA), there are certain areas of skill that all student affairs professionals should posses. It is encouraged that professionals in the field have a certain level of competence in thee area of Student Learning and Development. This is a competency designed to ensure that one has the ability to understand how students mature in a collegiate atmosphere, whether that be in the classroom and otherwise. Self-evaluation in this categories is needed to see if professional identifies as: basic, intermediate, and advanced. Knowledge and evaluation
The main ideas expressed are with the contextualized employability skills, employees will be getting better payoff on long term basis. The customized skills training will enable the workers to achieve the organisational goal as the employability skills are made more contexts bound and specific to the organizational and operating environment. The limitation of the article is it is hard to recognise the employability skills unless the relation between work context and expected skills are realised. Therefore the article can be used to further research the relation of various employability skills in different work

Introduction It is said that “We cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change.” This paper will present a career intervention plan for grade 9 students of the Foga Road High School. As a result, this will communicate to students, staff and parents the overall goals, learning targets and performance expectation of the program. This paper will establish the content that must be taught in the CIP with grade 9 students. It will provide teachers with a structure that supports them in facilitating quality learning experiences for all grade 9 students.
I learned many things at InstaCareer that will assist me in preparing for a career fair or networking event. One thing I learned is to wear either a suit, or the equivalent of a suit without the jacket. This will make me look more professional, and marketable to potential employers. Another thing I learned is it is better to have a professional looking portfolio to carry my resumes around in. This will accomplish two things for me.
Task 1 1.1 - Describe the benefits of personal and professional development There are many benefits to personal and professional development. Firstly, it helps the individual get sense of direction. The individual gains self-awareness, meaning they are clearer on where they are and what they want to achieve. They also gain an understanding of the organisations plans and expectations for them.
Katie’s success in her company is due to her different positions she took: “having different jobs before I opened my own company helped me to widen my skill sets; to be flexible and adaptable to change; to be creative in my thinking; and to trust my own ability to learn what I needed to grow my business”. Some skills needed for the profession are being able to speak and write clearly, to listen to the needs of clients and respond to those, and to follow through on all promises to engender trust. Adaptability and the ability to work effectively individually and collaboratively is also a skill that you will learn in your experience in and out of school. As a result of this I recognize the education at university is not enough as I thought and if I need to be a professional I should develop my skills in professional way. For this reason I decided to take this course. In this course I learned how to develop my abilities to be effective and more organize in order to encourage myself and my team for work. Before that it is important to rate myself to know where I am exactly and what I need to develop.
