I will admit, this DQ question had me confused for quite some time before I started to grasp the basic concept of the three persuasive appeals of “Logos, Pathos, and Ethos”. I believe my problem was that I was over thinking it, which caused additional frustration and time to complete the assignment. In any event, here is my take of the three persuasive appeals:
Ethos
Ethos is one of the methods described by Aristotle to validate the author's creditability, charisma, and character. This is an important concept to use to verify that the material is written by a professional in a specifically designated field of their choice.
Pathos
Pathos is an additional criteria of Aristotle rhetorical appeals in which this tool is designed to affect the reader’s emotions while trying to convince them of a specific

This method is sometimes referred to the core of the paper, in which it uses concrete evidence to sway the reader’s viewpoints in the author's direction.
The first time I read the article on Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I thought it was a well-written article on a disease which is common among young children and some adults. After learning more about Aristotle rhetorical appeals of Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, I see a completely different website that has successfully taken advantage over these methods. For instance, let us first look at how the overall site has been designed:
The web page has definitely been designed by a professional. They have included hyperlinks on the left hand for easy navigation. The color choices are easy on the eyes and the material flows from introducing what ADHD is, to how someone may diagnose someone.
The creditability is absolutely there due to CDC being a government
