The friendship that Nick has with Gatsby stands as a symbol of reliability, trust, and love. F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, shows the complex friendship Nick has with Gatsby, Nick’s curiosity for Gatsby’s life, and Nick’s interest to help Gatsby the more he gets to know him. F. Scott Fitzgerald shows that they have a very complicated friendship throughout the book.
