My first ideal of a soliloquy was in Act 1 Scene 1. This was a scene with lago's different

or many thoughts. Knowing that Othello has been the bitter and sad person towards Lago. He

even went as so far to promote Casio as his Lieutenant. This was a wrong step on his part. When

he should have promoted Lago. When Lago found out that this had happen. Lago felt this wrong.

He knew he would have been the better person for the job. Yet he was over looked and the job

was given to Casio. This would have made him feel as though Othello did this out of

meanness.Othello opens in Venice, with Iago (a low ranking officer in the Venetian army) and

Roderigo (a weak man who is in love with Desdemona) discussing their bitterness toward

You would say he was a

man of many different elements (Othello 2007).

Iago's villainy begins to work on Othello in two ways. First, Iago feeds Othello

insinuations that Desdemona has been unfaithful, creating emotional havoc for Othello. And

second, Iago feeds Othello lies concerning his own faithful service as a friend to Othello, when

in fact Iago hates Othello. On both accounts, Othello believes Iago. Iago is very good in what he

does. He even warns Othello not to be jealous. "It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock /

The meat it feeds on." Iago then tells Othello to not succumb to his thoughts but rather to seek

proof of Desdemona's unfaithfulness before Othello believes it. Iago also reminds Othello that

Desdemona did once deceive her father. By the time Iago and Othello part, Othello believes he is

indebted to Iago for being so honest with him .

This is surely a crazy moment in the mind of Rodrigo. Who is thinking that his

friend Lago would be in his corner to help him. You can see right through him. It is very

easy to say the less. He wouldn't be wasting his time. He knew that it was a go. And …show more content…

Now in the next scene it is about Cassio and how he is the mistrusted one. In the

first scene you could say that lago and Othello did not get alone very well. Lago was

very upset with the fact that Othello promoted another person in the position that he should have gotten and that he wanted to get back at him by trying to get information on him and his wife. I would think that even the people that are watching the play is feeling the something different about the way these two. You already know that he does not like him at all. You can feel the heat between these too. You know that Lago is thinking that Othello has cheated on his wife, but the bad thing he has nothing that will prove that he has cheated. But you know he thinks it. So you already know his next step will be to get him back. He is sitting up a plot of revenge. Which he is thinking of the bad things he can do to him. Lago plan is to put in Othello head that Cassio is not trust worthy. Lago thinks by doing that Othello will give him the postion of lieutenant. Which is not a good thing. If he starts that spreading that talk around that will make Othello easy to get to and make him mad enough to
