I think Jefferson Smith would be running as a liberal Democratic candidate. First, he is a
firm believer in equality for all, shown by his desire to create an all-inclusive boys’ camp.
In addition, Democrats are strong fighters for freedom and the protection of civil
liberties, which goes along with his desire to uphold the classic liberal ideal. Finally,
Smith would feel that the government has a responsibility to help out all those in need,
regardless of income, gender, religion, etc., which is a core concept of liberalism.

passion for helping boys of all backgrounds. First, he would be against the discrimination
of minorities and the LGBTQ in the United States and would fight for their rights due to
his passion for equality. In addition, because of his desire to help children from all
backgrounds and classes, he would work to help the poverty crisis in the nation. Finally,
since he is extremely dedicated to kids, he would feel comfortable running on the issue of
