Dreams are goals that basically drives man to the path they take in life whether they are good or bad. Dreams have a huge impact in your life in order for you to get up and out of bed in the morning and start the day that lies ahead of you. It is very healthy to have dreams in life. There is nothing wrong with goals of being rich, becoming a doctor, helping your family out or opening a liquor store. The dreams of Walter, Mama, and Beneatha shows us that, despite great obstacles, the American Dream is still possible. One character that possesses a powerful dream is Walter Lee. Walter lees dream is to open up a successful liquor store with three of his friends. Walter believes that the store will help him become a man that can provide for his family. Walter gets upset when mama acts like the head of the family and it makes Walter inferior.
