Furthermore, I am now inspired to help my fellow students and veterans to find a direction in their education. Every time I meet a fellow veteran, a deep connection forms. I do believe that every obstacle or disadvantage can turn into something good. Whatever obstacle that is thrown at us we always have to find a way to solve it out,they always may seem like the impossible but everything is fixable. So with that being said, yes every obstacle or disadvantage can turn into something better. Some people say that obstacles like that or having disadvantages can’t turn into something good. They say it makes people even fear more because they are scared and don’t think they have a way out of it.
As a child of immigrant parents, my formative years in elementary and middle school were shaped by two important factors: the environment in which I lived and my background. My parents worked hard to settle into a new life in a foreign country to provide better opportunities for our family. This meant that we had to be flexible about where we lived due to relocating for jobs, and fluid about our ideas of culture. I recall the daunting nature of moving to a new city, twice, as a child. The prospect of leaving everything that was familiar to me and forming new friendships in an unfamiliar environment was a challenge.

With no knowledge of my personality or past, Soldiers will expect me to have a high amount of knowledge on my particular field; therefore, I will need to ensure their trust in my knowledge is not wasted. In life there’s many obstacles and disadvantages. No matter what, obstacles are bound to happen in our lifetime whether we like it or not. The fact that there is no escaping them, makes people stronger in the sense what they have experience. An obstacle is a problem that you have to face with- overcome a problem you have to have the courage to face it. once in my past I had a problem, my problem was my grades at school. My grades was lower than the average I handle it by working hard and focusing on my subjects. After working hard on my grades, my hard work paid off.
