Racial Inequality
Racial Equality is not a reality.There is lots of racial inequality all around the world that is
happening right now.In 1960, black men were five times as likely as white men to be in a local,
or federal prison.Seven-in-ten- blacks and about a third of whites (37%) say blacks are treated
less fairly in their dealing with the police.Blacks and whites generally agree that two races get
along very well.About 3 quarters of African Americans now characterize racism is a big deal
along with 58% of hispanics.
Blacks and whites view their communities very differently because of how blacks are treated.

they are both human beings but are treated differently.Two-thirds of black respondents and a
quarter of whites say blacks are not treated as fairly as whites in court.
Some blacks and some whites say that sometimes blacks that go to court or are taken to
court sometimes don't get to have a trial.When a black is in a trial the judge doesn't really pay
attention to the blacks lawyer. Still about a third of all blacks say they had been discriminated
against or treated unfairly because of the race in the past year.Blacks have been treated unfairly
when it comes to a court or the local police.Black’s are getting treated unfairly five times worst
than whites.
Some blacks and whites say that people especially the police have to work on how to
behave with black people.For the past few years,Americans have been engaged in 2 public
conversations about inequality.One is about economic insecurity and the other one is about
racial inequality.Obama himself embraced this imagery,insisting that “there’s not a black
