A good example of sexism would be men and women in the workplace. Think about how many women are CEO’s in big businesses, not many. For example, think about the glass ceiling, women can see that there is a higher position and they may have potential to get the position; unfortunately, they will probably never be able to get the higher position, solely due to the fact that they are a female. Males have a higher chance of getting promoted more quickly than women in the workplace. Also, think about wage gaps, most men on average make way more money than most women do. The wage gap has been going on for a very long time and even though we are now in the 21st century, you would have thought that it would have been better by now, but it’s not. Sexism
