The dictionary definition of synergy is “the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.” Now, you may be wondering what this has to do with the movie, Remember the Titans. In this paper, I am going to talk in-depth about how the theory of synergy can be applied, not only to the team, but to the town as well. I will also explain the what happened with the team building aspect, I will specifically list obstacles that the players, coaches, and town faced and how they were overcome. The steps that were taken to deal with difficult people will be mentioned and I will be applying the concept of identifying group roles and navigating group conflict.
First, how can synergy be seen in the team? This movie is obviously showing a time when segregation was still in full-force. African American people still, for the most part, were not accepted by white people. Therefore, when it was decided the T.C.
