Getting shot , And maybe living in danger is things that can sometime happen to some teen activists. Teen activists are teens who want to make a difference in the world and they don’t care what others think of them and they are determined to make a difference. Some teen activists can live in danger at times because of what people think of them, make organisations to help support your cause and to help the world , and speak out about your cause to others so they know about it. Getting shot and being murdered are some ways that show that teen activists live in danger. Malala yousafzai is an example of this. A girl who spoke out for women's rights and for education got shot by a group of terrorists called the taliban shot her in the back of a …show more content…
A great example of speaking out is Malala yousafzai. Before she got shot she spoke out for women's rights. She did this because girls were starting not being able to go to school. When she spoke out she started a huge movement. Then right after she got shot she spoke out right away. Instead of using violence like the taliban she believed in using words and more peaceful things. On the “Jon Stewart video” she spoke to Jon Stewart she sounded like an adult which was crazy to hear. According to the “malala fund” she gave 14 million dollars to girls education around the whole world. Also 61 million don't go to school and she helps them to be able to go to school. Therefore, according to the “malala fund” when she won the nobel prize in 2014 she donated $150,000 to help rebuild a school that was in Gaza. She believed that other kids needed it more then she did, and that shows that she cares a ton about education and doesn't care about herself but she cares about others. Another example of this is of how teen activists raise money or make organizations is Alex Lin. In the “Interview with Alex Lin” He and his team WIN (westerly innovations network) collected 25 thousand or more computers in a month to recycle. Also they set up seven refurbished computer stations around the world so kids could have them. To illustrate, he is not just raising money for collecting computers but he is also raising awareness to e-waste because many people did not know about it but now they do. Those are some great examples of teen activists that speak out. The most important part of being a teen activists is working hard, By n danger, making organisations, and speaking out. These teen activists impact my life because they work super hard and never stop no matter what. I think that everybody should raise their voice and do something about the problems in the world like they did and knowing that
