I believe Josh to be an exemplary student-scholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills. I met Josh in my first semester of college in our biology class. We were both Biochemistry majors so we got to skip Biology 1 and therefore were both new to this new world of college but already in a group full of sophomores and students who had been in college for multiple semesters. I am writing to apply for the position of U.S. Probation Officer as advertised on your website. As shown by my resume, I have several years of experience in law enforcement and security management. As a correctional officer and Parole and Probation Agent dealing with crimes, I have had the chance to conduct several successful investigations displaying attention to details, sound judgment, and analytical skills. While my expertise has been gained mostly in the field with investigations of cases, I have also gained extensive experience in Collaborative Offender Management Enforcement Treatment (COMET).
As a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society, I believe that I possess the qualities needed to be inducted. I am interested in joining the organization because I am confident in my leadership qualities and want to help the community. I have achieved the Honor Roll every quarter since it was available in Elementary. In 6th grade, I earned the Westchester County Clerk’s Distinguished Student Award from Timothy C. Idoni. plus, on my last year at A.B. Davis Middle School, I have merited the Triple C award from the Westchester Attorney General.
Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. I am hopeful the National Honor Society will help me develop this further, and thank you for taking hte time to read my application.
Essay of Intent I deserve to be part of the National Junior Honor Society for many reasons. To begin with I deserve to be in National Junior Honor Society because of my skills as a leader. Additionally, I have a very strong character, and able to work well in a team. Finally, I am willing to give back to the people in need and honoring my country. I want to be part of the SHS board of officers because not only do I take pride and jubilance from my spanish heritage and background, but I work arduously to be a salient member of anything I am a part of. I want to learn from others and gain more responsibility to ensure me a more auspicious future. I believe that by being in such an honorable society and as an officer, I can impact my peers as well as gain knowledge from others and their different cultures. As a current member of the Spanish Honor Society, I have already left a mark, by being published in the March edition of Albricias for a drawing.
