A guide on how to incorporate parents voices in the curriculum
As a teacher beginning employment in a new school or early childhood program, understanding the real lived experiences of the families and the children I teach is very instrumental in making me comfortable and capable in areas of working with the families. Due to this demand, I will need guidance in setting up plausible situations for parents to have a legitimate voice in curriculum and unit planning. This will ensure that there is a connection between what the students are being thought and the spiritual lives of their families. The family …show more content…

This will help in imparting knowledge with ethical standards to the learners and best application of instructional practices. The key elements of the trading will include promoting leadership, imparting ethical standards, sharing best practices, facilitating collaboration and advocating for students(Strong performers and successful reformers in education, 2011).
Support in establishing a respectful learning environment for a diverse population of students
As a new teacher beginning employment in a school or early childhood program, I will need support in developing a strong relationship with all the students and their families. The key elements in offering this support will include how to provide a supporting relationship to students through honoring excellence in various aspects of learning(Thompson, 2013). I will also need support on how to respect the diverse cultures within the learning environment and how to create classroom environments that optimize learning. As a teacher beginning employment in a school or early childhood program, it will be important to have a clear understanding of the set ethical and professional demands of the school. A clarification of these by the supervisor will be helpful in development of a good interaction with the school administration, staff, community members and students.
Does the school provide advocacy for beginning teachers?
This question will deliver an understanding on how to get appropriate instructional resources and have a supportive working environment. This should further explain the available advocacy methods for teachers. The school advocacy should be aimed at initiating policies that improves education for every student in the school.
