The world, in terms of food, has been heavily impacted through migration and travel, due changing political situations, and oversea opportunities. Changing political environments oversea opportunities, has resulted in many refugees and immigrants to move from their home country to another in hopes of a better life. Through this, food has become a way of connecting and maintaining traditions of their ancestors in a nation where they, the minority, are foreign to. Additionally, with the increase in immigration within countries, like Canada, the citizens have become more accepting towards other nationalities thus, are more willing to try the foods of other cultures.
