According to the religion, the angel Gabriel revealed many messages to Muhammed which he shared with what was a polytheistic world at the time. The Five Pillars of Islam are a set of regulations that a believer must follow according to the teachings of Islam. The first pillar is Faith or Shahada. It claims that in order to be a believer of Islam, you must declare that “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.” This is essential in order to become a Muslim and to convert to Islam. The major difference is historical. The Shiites did God holy book, the Day of Judgment, and destiny. Both believe in the five Pillars of Islam. Both face the direction of Kaaba when praying. Both could pray in any mosque; regardless the praying leader; is Sunni or Shiite.
The second pillar is prayer. For this pillar, it is essential that Muslims pray at least five times a day. For each of these different prayers, they talk to their God to obtain a stronger connection.
