There are four major areas in psychology. They are Developmental psychology, Cognitive psychology, Behavioral psychology, and Social psychology.
Developmental psychology is the study and change of an individual in a life span. For
Developing psychology, there are four stages, The Developing of the Fetus, The
Development of Infant and Child, The Development of Adolescent, and The Development of the
Adult. The Developing Fetus is where a baby starts to develop. Such as, body parts, nerves, and brain development.
The Development of Infant and Child is where the baby/child starts to learn from their parents/caregiver. They also start to develop early motor skills. Also there are developmental milestones a child goes through at this …show more content…

Third a child develops communication skills where they learn how to communicate to others by learning how to speak. Lastly, social skills is where they learn how to socialize with others and learn how to play with other children their age.
Social skills is a very important stage in development as they will use this skill for the rest of their lives and learn how to develop friendships/ relationships with others.
The Development of Adolescent is when a child grows into early adulthood and starts to go through body changes. Such as, puberty and hormones as their body is starting to mature.
The Development of Adult is when an individual becomes an adult and decides if they are going to attend college to obtain a career or if they’re going to get a job to support themselves.
