The United States targeted three cities, but Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the ones chosen. An eyewitness tells of the horror that he experienced when the atomic bomb exploded. After dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, President Truman addressed the nation with a radio broadcast. A second atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki a few days later, which caused Japan to unconditionally surrender, ending World War II.
To me, leadership mean being responsible and someone who can manage time really well. A leader can walk their followers to the right path of success. Someone who is in control because of their personality of trustworthiness and always deliberative from the world which is unpredictable. I currently exhibit leadership while working on any project for my college or high school classes. I take the role of a leader and always work diligently enough to get good compliments from peers and instructors.
A leader is commonly identified as a person who commands a group. I disagree. A leader is not one who commands, but is one who follows. In packs of wild wolves, there exists a common misconception that the alpha male is the domineer in his pack, however, the alpha male is the protector of the group. Wolf packs travel in distinct patterns.
Leadership defined is a person who takes initiative to aid others during their every day activities. They makes sacrifices of their time and personal interests for others. I believe I fit this description because I take time out of my day to help the people around me who need it. I help my sister with her English homework. I also help classmates with their English work.
What is my leadership philosophy? Over twenty years ago, I raised my right hand and took an oath of office by which I swore to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.” I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
When being a supervisor, you have a lot of responsibilities that you need to take on every day with the people who work for you. It is important that the supervisor always oversees the jobs/activities that are being performed and making decisions on what to do. When it comes to everything with being a supervisor, there are ten reasons the supervisor hat fits me just fine. The first one is having good behavior, which means that you need to be approachable in every situation. You want to be positive and make sure that people in your team feel that they can come to you.
1. My philosophy of leadership is about collaboration and teamwork. Respecting and treating everyone the same, is key to supporting a good team atmosphere. I believe when a leader puts effort and care into assisting others, then their peers and followers will naturally want to support them. It is also important for a leader to recognize, that advocacy must never become so important that the critical elements of leadership are neglected (e.g. policy enforcement, command support, etc...).
Leadership is can mean different things to different people. To me, leadership is more than having a title and subordinates. Leadership is having the courage to make the right choices, engage others in a vision, and empower your subordinates with a shared purpose and to achieve positive impacts. Leadership can also be relational which means it takes teamwork, requires you to be able to work with others in various backgrounds and that may have difference perspectives. Leadership also requires continuous learning, discerned decision making, and savvy communication skills.
From my point of view , Leadership has more to it than I can possibly imagine. I define leadership as the art of enabling a group of people get to a specific destination. As a leader your main focus was to enable your followers lead theselves. As i think deeper i realise a person cannot choose to be a leader. I think a lot of the time people take on leadership positions without knowing.
Question 1 Are leadership and management different from one another? If so, how? Answer: Leadership- The ability to influence a group toward the achievement of goals.
We could infer from this that it is much more difficult to be an effective leader than an effective manager. Managers came from the ‘’headship’’ (power from position) category. They hold appointive or directive
The managers specialize in setting a positive bench- mark around the boundaries for their teams and also individuals.. On the other hand leaders have well defined objectives and they lead the teams to achieve those objectives. Leaders not set up goals but also have to lead the teams in new directions. lead their teams to achieve objectives. Leaders should have a vision, mission and ability to lead their teams from the front.
Introduction Leadership is the art of empowering people around you to achieve a goal. As a leader I want to help others become leaders themselves. I firmly believe that by leading based on my values this will be accomplished. I have had many leadership influences throughout my career. Some of them showed me the way I wanted to someday lead and others showed me exactly how not to.
According to our group discussion in term of “leadership” in business world, leadership is not just the person who have the job title or higher range position in an organization but leader is the person who knows the way and ability to demonstrate the possible way to
1. Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time. I consider myself a leader, i believe this because i am the type of person that feels like if i am not the one to do it then it will not be done the right way. Whenever i would work in groups i would designate myself to be the one to do the harder assignment, because i only trusted that would take it serious, not anyone else. Also, whenever i do anything that involves a team, i like to take control, because i feel like i am the best one to work under pressure or i can choose the best solution for any situation.
