3.5 What to be learned from Regulations and Office Etiquette
As a business intern, I worked in a professional environment where there were certain workplace regulations and office etiquette that I needed to be aware of. These rules were in place to ensure that everyone in the workplace was treated with respect and to help the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Workplace regulations:
The first thing that I learned from workplace regulations was the importance of following rules and regulations. This included understanding the company policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations. Office etiquette refers to the unwritten rules of behavior that govern how people interact with each other in the workplace. This includes everything from how people dress to how they communicate with others.
One of the most important aspects of office etiquette is professionalism. This meant that I had to be respectful and courteous to my colleagues and superiors at all times. I also learned to be punctual, reliable, and accountable for my work. By demonstrating these qualities, I helped establish myself as a valuable member of the Kha Kmex Group JSC team and built strong relationships with my colleagues.
Another important aspect of office etiquette that I learned was effective communication. This includes both verbal and nonverbal communication. It is important to be clear and concise in my communication, whether I was speaking to a colleague or sending an email. I also needed to be mindful of my body language and tone of voice, as these can convey a lot of information about my attitude and intentions.
