Would you rather have freedoms or no freedoms? One reason a democracy is better than a utopia because living in a democracy with freedoms is better because you are able to choose what YOU want to do. Another reason you are able to choose what job you think is best for yourself instead of being forced into something that may not fit you and finally, you 're able to wear what you want and be different from other people and not look the same as everyone else. For these reasons, a democratic society is better than a utopian society because in a democratic society people have freedom of choice. To start, you are able to choose what YOU want to do, instead of being told around like some robot. You are able to choose whatever you want.
