Sports are fun and very beneficial. Everyone can improve in skill, strength and cooperation. Both genders, however, may improve better with the opposite. The question is, should sports teams be coed? Of course some people would prefer not to be paired in a coed team, but it’s a very positive influence on both genders.
there should not be coed sport By jt morgan I think coed sports should not be allowed at school guys have been playing with guys for ever and girls have been playing with girls for ever so why change it. Guys are the dominant sex that's the way it always has been and that's for a reason we are stronger bigger and faster that's the way we are built and girls are built different guys have a thing called testrone and that makes us who we are bigger faster and stronger girls don't have that so they are smaller weaker and slower don't get me wrong there some girls that are better than some guys but the majority is we are bigger. Guys play harder than girls and the girls might get hurt and nobody
Every year you join a team with at least one person you don’t know. Nate Jakobs, a varsity baseball player and enthusiast said that in team sports, you have to work together to win games, and the trust formed while playing forms into friendships. Friends are important because they keep you happy and help you do what you love. I have made many friends from playing on the same baseball teams. You can make lots of friends from playing baseball!
This also relates to girls and boys. If it is not provided, both sexes have to be allowed to try out if they want to participate on the same team. The division between men and women’s teams has increased the number of women playing in a sport. Before Title IX, less than three hundred thousand women played
One of the major issues discussed now a days in our society that should girls be allowed to play in a coed teams in schools? Most schools separate males and females from playing in the same team. Unfortunately, coed teams can make girls learn how to be competitive, and boys will learn how
First, girls on boys’ sports teams would build more friendships with the opposite sex. Steve Sampsell, a writer for KidSports Magazine, states, “Learning to view the opposite sex as a friend and not something intimidating is something kids can carry with them for life…” When both girls and boys learn to look at one another mutually and beneficially rather than an opponent of the opposite sex, both genders can form friendships with more people. In addition, Tim McCoy, director of member services on a sports team, writes, “Sports at this prepubescent age is social; the kids are meant to have fun and get some exercise and the camaraderie will serve them well…” When boys and girls play sports
According to an article from “azcentral”, titled, “Positive Reasons for Co-Ed Sports,” Kathryn Rateliff Barr says that,”Some small schools and communities have learned that offering coed teams allows more players to play for a smaller total cost.” This shows that if coaches may combine both male and female professional sports, the complete value of what is used for all athletics would decrease. This is important because what is left from being used on teams can be spent on accessing better equipment and outfits for future activities. In addition, according to the author of “azcentral’s”, “Positive Reasons for Coed Sports,” Kathryn Rateliff Barr states, “Coed teams can mean smaller coaching staffs than what would be needed for separate, sexually-segregated teams.” It stands to reason that not including coed teams requires more coaches, which would also include more pay and possibly higher pay.
Never judge a book by its cover. People would want to read this because it shows how girls are just as important as boys. Girls should be able to play football because it lets them do something they love and it helps them stay in shape. Most people think that girls shouldn't be able to play football. They think this because they might get hurt or bullied but they are wrong.
If you were a girl, would you want to be on a boy-girl basketball team? I wouldn't, and that is why I believe that boys and girls should not be able to play on the same team. I say this because, it makes a wider range of teams, boys and girls bodies are built differently, and sports were made to be split up into boys and girls. First off, there are lots of teams in the sports world, but ,if you combine boys and girls, that would cut down on the amount of teams for people to cheer for, or play for. It would be easier for someone to make it on an all-girl or an all-boy team than to make it on a coed team.
When it comes to muscle, generally males tend to be the leaders, as studies showed estrogen-b and testosterone speed up muscle mass faster for men, so a sport like football all about shoving and pushing may seem like a good idea, but when it comes to woman it is a whole different story. It may seem sexist, but male skeletal systems were build for building muscles, but anyone determined enough will be able to match strong men, as there are female bodybuilders. Should women be allowed to play football with men if they please, or should they have their own separate league to make it fair. With my evidence, women should not be allowed to play with men because men have stronger bodies, and because it would get very crowded. John hopkins medicine research shows that the more contact there is in a sport, the less injuries there is.
Sports should not be based on whether you are more interested in girls or guys sports; it should be based on which sport brings in more revenue and has the most participation
Friends I had made came from the sport I played. I never ended up asking for friends to come over because to me, practice was hanging out with my friends, doing an activity with a purpose. Most of my closest and truest friends, have come from soccer. We are all bred with the same thought process of the traditional values within the sport. As a result, we have become a more welcoming people, more willing to help others, and inclusive to others.
In the article named “Benefits of Teamwork In Sports.” the author, Wade Harle showed how learning to cooperate with others towards a certain goal in youth sports is what builds character, friendship and important life skills for players and also coaches. The friendships built throughout a team can last a lifetime for some players, and the journey of a team throughout a season is often stuck in your memory for a lengthy period of time. Also found in that article is, the teamwork in sports offer a way for kids to compete for something together. Although it is important to know that winning isn’t everything in sports, some competition can be great for people.
I do believe that they should be able to be on the same team without the feeling of others disapproving of their choice. With that being said, I think we should make sports more open to both genders. Such as making a boys and girls volleyball team or a football team that allows both boys and girls to join. I know a change like that may not happen for a while, but why not start trying
You can enjoy the moments when you play with your friends and family as well as when you join a soccer team. You will be meeting new friends that you have not met before. It is helpful because you and your team will have rules to do when you play in the field, and they build trust with you which you can know everyone strength from weakness. Gaining a friend can increase your popularity which also at the same time will encourage you to play much better. For example, I have been playing soccer for a long time with my buddies, and they call me in every time there is a match.
