Most high school seniors are pressured by their guidance counselors and parents to go to college because it is "the right thing to do”. The importance of higher education is so we can obtain a career that can support our needs and wants. A college campus filled with strangers yet also filled with future opportunities. It’s a place where others can improve their social and mental skills. College isn’t just a choice, it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey, one that will shape and determine future opportunities, connections and salary range. Colleges graduates not only have access to an education, yet they also have access to improve the person they are today. Although no college program will teach people everything they need to comprehend in life, the skills they learn from interacting with others and handling life’s challenges are valuable. People with college degrees tend to construct finer life choices and financial decisions, and they have the skills to build excellent relationships professionally and socially.
