When people are in need of help during a flood, why would people risk their lives to save strangers that they never knew? Are people good at heart, or bad at heart. In this essay we will look at why people are good at heart as well as looking at some things that are concevertial to this question. In the play The Diary of Anne Frank, Anne Frank is a young Jewish girl who goes into hiding believing that people are good at heart. Accord to the play, “Anne. ‘I have a little something for everybody’”(Goodrich and Hackett 15). This shows even during the darkest times, people make an effort to be nice. Another quote is, “We’ll do everything we can”(Goodrich and Hackett 13). Even if people know it would risk their life, the would take this chance to help out other people. Despite the hard times Anne Frank kept on believing that people are good at heart. Since the play is fiction, it is only fair if I include real facts. According to the text Hitler’s speech, “Only those of true German blood should be members of our nation.”(Hitler). Even though this seems bad now, back then he just did it for his people so they were happy not having to worry about the other people stealing their jobs. They might say that evidence like, “Only those of true German blood should be members of our nation” (Hitler) this shows that people are not good at because they are discriminating against other Non Germans people, but Adolf Hitler is only trying to protect his people from bad things. Also what he said like “We will take back what has been wrongly stolen from us.”(Hitler). This quote is concevertial because people might say Hitler is trying to steal land but in Hitler’s opinion he think it was stolen from him like the quote states.
