My students learned what the definition of different was and how thing can be the same thing but one thing can make the two difference. Such as the bears we used, for the example, the bears were different color but my student recognized they were different sizes too. Another thing my students learned from this book was a better understanding on how we should treat people who are different. The see this all the time when they are not in the classroom.
For example, because my discourse is more of a family than a community it has taught me that: even though you will come across people that you don’t like or get along with you still need to treat them with respect. Also, that you will come across classes where you will have to work together, just like in stage crew and there is more than one way to get your work done. Secondly, when in groups or having to deal with other individuals, they are human beings and will be different from you. But you cannot let other students walk all over you; and if you need to talk to a teacher it has taught me how to be assertive in my needs and wants. Without this skill, school would be much more difficult because without communication skills, you will fail.
The essential part of this is to show that some of these animals can cause sickness even to the kids in the classroom, and even worse to kids with allergies. For students with attention and focusing needs, class pets can provide too much stimulation and distract them from their work” (Jordan paragraph 3). This illustrates that some kids may not be able to handle a pet in the classroom, they can get off topic and might not be able to focus. This reason is also shown in another article: “What’s the Problem With Classroom ‘Pets’?”

Distractions happen everywhere in classrooms during the day but when there's a new little friend added to the classroom It may make things way harder to focus on. Therefore I am going to be telling you the following two reasons why I believe classrooms should not have pets. which is, it may be distracting to the kids learning, and it causes sicknesses to the animal and to the child. Pets can cause distractions in a classroom that is a fact. According to the article, “leave animals out of the classroom,” the learning process is inheritance filled with mistakes and failures, which are appropriate in normal life circumstances.
One of my reasons that we shouldn’t have pets in the classroom is because kids don’t have the responsibility yet. Some kids will accidentally drop the animal, they might throw the animal, and kids will under feed them so much that they could literally starve to death.
