I disagree that social media should not allow users under the age of 18. The reason I say that is because social media is mostly used teens. the teens are more into that type of stuff because now and days the older people these day are like we didn't have that type of stuff when we were growing up. they would rather go outside and play some hopscotch or something. but the teens spend more time o social media on our phones and things.
One of the most controversial issues happening in this generation is: should social media have an age requirement? Personally, I feel as if it should be age-restricted because it has some inappropriate materials for children at young ages. Social media should have an age restriction due to young children experiencing and being influenced by bad behaviors or decisions, Especially by their "role models," for instance, youtubers or social media stars. This has affected our society by allowing teens to have a quick and efficient way to communicate with others worldwide.
