According to WHO- “Nutrition is the intake of food, considered in relation to the body’s dietary needs. Good nutrition – an adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity – is a cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental development, and reduced productivity”

Nutrition is a basic human need, that requires throughout the hole life and along the wellnes continuum. Basically we recieved nutrition from food. Nutrition is the science of food and process by which organs take in and produce the energy, with the help of energy body an perform his actions and help to grow. More nurished people are more healthy,produtcive and able to learn. The people who were not nurished properly they will face several health issues like-physical disability, mentally retarted and many more.

Malnourished among the childrens is often caused by intake improper food, repetative diarrohea, improper care during illness. Malnutrition during childhood can also affect the growth potential and high risk of morality in later years of life. Malnourished children are more likely to grow into malnourished adults who face high risk of disease and death.

A number of factors affect child nutrition either directly or indirectly. The most commonly causes are availability of the food, breast-feeding, prevlance of infectious diseases, access to health care services, immunization
