A place full of happiness, equal opportunities for everyone, and protection, is only a place we can visit in our dreams because it does not exist. The perfect world that is called Utopia is only a disguise for what it truly is, a Dystopia. After reading Ray Bradbury's novel Fahrenheit 451, I was able to distinguish the difference and similarities between a dystopian and a utopian society. Utopia does not exist, for we humans are flawed, flawed humans can only create a flawed society. A dystopian society is a place full of fear and destruction. A dystopia is a place where the government manipulates the society into thinking that they are safe and living a wonderful life when actually they are in danger every single day. Technology has a wide range of use in Fahrenheit 451, not only does it act as a monitor it also harms innocent people. In this manipulative world dog's hurt humans. Nowadays people consider dogs as a source of protection, a buddy, even a son or daughter. Now they are used to hunt, inject, and kill. What a horrible image, our poor, playful puppies are manufactured into killing machines. In the essay I wrote, “from this quote, readers can clearly see how the government manipulates technology, they use something that originally represented safety to use as enforcers of a dystopian society.” Readers can clearly see that while writing my essay I was thinking about the perceptions of dogs in the society. I've seen the works Dogs, In addition to helping the blind, they also detect high blood pressure in diabetic patients, and decreased triglyceride levels, which contributes to the increase of cardiovascular health and fewer heart
