There are many Cinderella stories in the world. Many with different cultures and some with the same, but these Cinderella stories are very different but yet have the same concept. And even though they are different cultures the magic helper can determine how they are similar and how they are different. In normal fairy tales princess’ lives are very different but sometimes the same. In normal fairy tales the princess’ always gets their prince, but in some other ways they are different. For example being asleep for a hundred years is different from being locked up in a tower with extremely long hair. Which is a story about a girl who was treated unfairly but because she was kind she gained a good reward, and in Cinderella the magic helper is the fairy godmother which is a mythical creature. And a long time ago in France people believed in mythical creatures and magic before christianity came. So therefore the fairy godmother was a symbol that the culture of France used to believe that there were mythical creatures like goblins, fairies, and dragons. The magical helper is the fairy godmother, and without her Cinderella would have never been able to go to the ball. The fairy godmother was a mythical fairy who helped Cinderella go to the ball with her magical powers. She let Cinderella go to the ball, but just like there is a price with all magic Cinderella had to be back before midnight. The magic character reveals the religion of this story because it shows the culture of France and shows what France thinks of the nature and purpose of the universe. The nature is to be mean like the stepsisters, but our purpose is to be kind like Cinderella. And shows the important role of a god, which in this case is the fairy godmother.
