Mansa Musa was the Emperor of Mali in the fourteenth century, he was known for being the richest ruler. He was born around 1230 and died around 1337. Mansa Musa is mostly known for his journey to the Muslim holy city in Mecca where he was introduced him to rulers in the Middle East and in Europe.
